Nose: Perfumey and a touch oily, with strong hints of lemon and vanilla.
Body: Medium to light, nutty and rounded.
Palate: Fresh oak. Slightly drying.
Finish: It develops to a crisp, accentuated dryness, with a hint of nutmeg and pepper coming in at the very end.
Colour: Warm gold.

Tequila Somonque Extra Premium Reposado
Tequila, Tequila Reposado
Nose: Initially strong and very herbal. After oxygenation the bouquet becomes more subtle, with underlying notes of oak, dates, wild honey and orange blossom.
Body: Astonishingly light and smooth. Silky, with a tinge of sweet citrus fruits.
Palate: A lovely balance of creaminess and sweetness. It's easy to detect dried fruits like banana, apricot and pineapple with caramel, topped off with a clear hint of vanilla and hazelnut.
Finish: Long, with a tinge of cooked agave throughout. Initially oaky and spicy (cinnamon and root ginger) but becoming gradually dry.
Colour: Bright yellow gold.
The Tequila Somonque Reposado bears a strong similarity to a good smokeless whisky. Due to an entirely natural fermentation process, this tequila takes a longer time to produce, and is worth the wait. For a reposado it is rather on the light, sweet side of the flavour spectrum thanks to the notes of (ex-bourbon) American oak, and each sip slips down like silk.

Nose: Mineral with a certain dryness. Grassy notes combine with herbs to create a very clean scent.
Body: Perfectly rounded. A hint of sweet wild mint is complimented by woody eucalyptus.
Palate: A harmonic balance of citrus fruits and fresh, honey-like sweetness.
Finish: A smooth, well balanced dryness. A late emergence of elegant cooked agave leaves a long-lasting end note.
Colour: Clear.
Tequila Don Nacho Blanco is an extremely clean and smooth tequila with a very complex flavour in comparison to many blancos. This is the ideal introduction to the world of agave spirits and we heartily recommend it.

Nose: Marzipan, caramel and a dark wood, resembling mahogany more than oak.
Body: Big, rounded with some dryness of texture.
Palate: Lightly sweet start, nutty, raw dark chocolate / cacao beans.
Finish: Warming, with a gingery dryness and an oakiness that eventually reveals itself.
Colour: Dark amber.
The Tequila Somonque Añejo contains some very particular flavour notes that can be attributed to ca. two years of aging in the richly aromatic ex-bourbon casks.
