Nose: Marzipan, caramel and a dark wood, resembling mahogany more than oak.
Body: Big, rounded with some dryness of texture.
Palate: Lightly sweet start, nutty, raw dark chocolate / cacao beans.
Finish: Warming, with a gingery dryness and an oakiness that eventually reveals itself.
Colour: Dark amber.
The Tequila Somonque Añejo contains some very particular flavour notes that can be attributed to ca. two years of aging in the richly aromatic ex-bourbon casks.

Tequila Arette Añejo
Tequila, Tequila Anejo
Nose: Elements of oak and cooked agave emerge first followed swiftly by more subtle tones of vanilla, chocolate and sweet orange.
Body: Medium, firm.
Palate: Sweet flavours like caramel and cooked agave are prevalent. While vanilla, chocolate, cinnamon and even a hint of coconut can be detected in the background.
Finish: Citrus fruits and gentle sweetness. Freshly roasted coffee beans develop into a pepperish dryness. Medium length.
Colour: Yellow gold.
Arette Añejo is a fantastic, sweet tequila, thanks to it's 14 to 18 months rest in American oak casks. It is bursting with spicy flavours like vanilla and cinnamon, with gentle chocolate and coffee notes. Arette's agaves are grown in the rich, dark soil close to Tequila's volcano, which provides interesting mineral characteristics.

Palate: Initially dry and crisp, developing quickly into a very sweet flavour.
Finish: Warming with strong notes of cooked agave and broad herbal tones.

Tequila Creencias Blanco is exceptionally sweet for a silver tequila, and an easy introduction to the remarkable world of tequilas. Creencias is certified as an organic tequila.

Nose: A certain roughness prevails at the first sniff, with herbal notes filtering through.
Body: Light, thin and slippery.
Palate: Cooked agave is quickly obvious. Nuts and dried fruits emerge first, closely followed by underying mineral notes.
Finish: Warm, spicy and gingery with a fairly dry and long-lasting finish for a blanco.
Colour: Clear.
Unusually minerally for a tequila, a great option for mixing and cocktails.
